How Ruche's search works
The order of the search follows public rules that are the same for everyone. No business pays to rank higher, and whoever arrives through search belongs to the business, with no commission.

Who appears
- Only a business that chose to appear, under Your page in the dashboard.
- With the page live, the city in the address and at least one active service.
- The card shows only what the business's page already shows: name, neighborhood, services, prices, rating and badges.
The filters
Filters remove from the list whoever does not match what you asked for; they do not change the order. Text, field, city, near me (up to 50 km from those who serve at their own address, or within the radius of those who come to you), available today, minimum rating, price up to, language, accessibility, payment method on site and home service. With two or more locations, the distance is to the nearest location, and the link already opens the page at it.
The Recommended order
Each business gets a score from 0 to 1, adding up three parts:
- Reviews: 50%. The average of the ratings, pulled toward 4.0 while there are few (as if the business started with 5 reviews of 4.0). The average only appears on the card from 3 reviews.
- Distance: 30%. Only with Near me; the closer, the higher, up to 30 km. Without your position, this part is worth the same for everyone.
- Complete profile: 20%. Photo (logo or cover), description, a price on every service and the city in the address.
One in every 5 positions is kept for a new business (up to 90 days on Ruche or with few reviews), so that newcomers have somewhere to appear.
In a tie, a draw that changes every day breaks it, so the same order does not stay fixed.
The other orders
- Nearest: by distance, only with Near me.
- Highest rated: by the score with the starting one; those who do not have an average yet appear afterward.
- Lowest price: by the lowest price among the services that match the search.
What never counts
- Payment, plan or ads: none of these changes the position.
- Data about the searcher: your position is rounded, used only in this search and not stored.
- How many times the business appears or is clicked.
For the business
Under Your page, Ruche search, the dashboard shows what is weighing for your business and what is missing from the profile. When the rules change, this page changes with them, with the new version.
