Ruche badges
The badges on a business's page say, with numbers, what Ruche checked. The rule is the same for everyone, no badge can be bought or depends on the plan, and each one shows when it was checked.
How they appear on the page
- Verified
- Highly rated · Silver, level 2 of 4
- Punctual · Gold, level 3 of 4
- Replies fast
- Experience in Hair color · Platinum, level 4 of 4
Verified
Ruche checks four things:
- the account email, confirmed;
- the business phone, checked by a WhatsApp message with a code;
- 30 days or more on Ruche;
- 5 appointments through Ruche, from 5 different clients.
Ruche does not check documents, address or professional registration. Verified means the business exists and serves clients through Ruche, not that Ruche guarantees the service.
Highly rated and Punctual
They come from reviews by people who were served: Highly rated, from the overall rating; Punctual, from the punctuality rating. Each has four levels, counted in honeycomb cells.
| Level | Ruche score | Reviews | Different clients | On Ruche for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 4.30 | 5 | 5 | 30 days |
| Silver | 4.50 | 15 | 12 | 90 days |
| Gold | 4.70 | 40 | 30 | 180 days |
| Platinum | 4.85 | 80 | 60 | 12 months |
The Ruche score starts at 4.0 and approaches the average as reviews come in: with 5 ratings of 5, it is 4.5. This way, two or three reviews are never enough for a level. The average the page shows is that of all reviews; the Ruche score only decides the badge.
For Gold, at most 3% of appointments canceled by the business at the last minute (less than 24 hours ahead). For Platinum, at most 1.5%, and no badge removed by the Ruche team in the last 12 months.
What counts
- Reviews and appointments from the last 12 months.
- Only appointments that the person booked through the business's page, confirmed through the link or paid through the page, and that are not for someone on the team.
- From the same person, one review counts every 30 days and at most 4 in 12 months.
The other reviews stay on the page and in the average: they just do not count toward badges.
Replies fast
For those who approve each appointment request: in the last 90 days, at least 5 requests and 90% of them approved or declined within 12 hours. A request that expires without a reply counts as outside the time.
Experience in
The business chooses up to 3 services that are its strength. The badge only appears when the numbers confirm it:
| Level | Appointments | Different clients | Share of appointments | Service reviews | Ruche score |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 20 | 12 | 10% | 5 | 4.50 |
| Silver | 60 | 30 | 15% | 12 | 4.60 |
| Gold | 150 | 60 | 20% | 25 | 4.70 |
| Platinum | 400 | 120 | 25% | 50 | 4.80 |
An appointment with a value far below the price or with half the service time does not count, and from the same person one per week counts. Ruche does not check titles or certificates: that is why the badge says Experience in, never specialist.
Monthly check
Levels are checked on the 1st of each month. To keep a level, the entry score minus 0.05 and 80% of the quantities are enough; below that in two checks in a row, the badge drops one level. Each badge shows when it was checked and the numbers of that day.
Health care
For health and mental health clinics, the page shows only Verified and Replies fast: professional councils prohibit self-promotion and promises of results.
Badge removed
The Ruche team removes a badge when a rule is broken, such as reviews from people who were not clients or the phone number of someone else. The badge leaves the page, and the business sees the reason and can request a review.
Search engines
Badges are not part of the data the page sends to Google and other search engines: only the rating and the reviews from people who were served go there, as their rules require.
